Registration and Payment
Nordic Travel is member of the Travel Guarantee Fund with membership number 1936. It is important to ensure that as a traveller you are informed about the conditions and the current terms of travel that apply to you. By making a payment, you accept these terms and conditions. The terms of travel below apply to trips and other services sold, where Nordic Travel ApS is the technical organiser.

  1. Prices

    The prices are in DKK unless otherwise specified.

  2. Booking and Payment

    The booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed verbally or in writing by the point of sale. When making the booking, your credit card will be charged 10% of the entire booking amount as a deposit. The remaining amount must be paid at least 7 days prior to departure. You will receive a reminder email containing a payment link about 10 days prior to departure. If the booking is made less than 7 days prior to departure, the whole amount will be charged at the time of booking. Certain activities, such as concerts, transport and the like, may require direct debiting at the time of booking.  These payments are non-refundable. If the payment is not received by the due date, we will consider the booking cancelled, whereupon the cancellation terms will apply unless otherwise specified in your booking. 

  3. Cancellations

    The customer has the right to cancel the trip under the following conditions:

    • More than 15 days prior to departure: Fee – DKK 0
    • Less than 15 days but no more than 2 days prior to departure: Fee – DKK 400.
    • Less than 2 working days prior to departure: Fee – 100% of the total amount.

    If the trip cannot be made: 100% of the total price must be paid.

  4. Tickets for events:

    When purchasing tickets for events, such as concert tickets, theatre tickets and entrance tickets for attractions, the purchase may not be amended or cancelled.

  5. Cancellation of packages including event tickets

    The following applies when ordering package trips which include event tickets:
    100 % of the total amount must be paid in case of a cancellation.
    If the trip cannot be made: 100% of the total price must be paid.

  6. Transfer:

    In most cases it is possible to transfer the right to the trip to someone else. In some cases, it is not possible to change tickets and the like, and the right to the trip may not be transferred to another person. If you want to transfer the right to trip to another person, we have to receive a written notification no later than 14 days prior to departure. If the transfer is possible, a special transfer fee will be charged. The original customer can share with the new traveller any remainder fees and the costs associated with the transfer.

  7. Amendments:

    General amendments of the booking can be made up to 10 days prior to arrival and are subject to a fee. Subsequent amendments are regarded as a new order. Costs in connection with amendments to the trip after booking: Amendments of ferry times and transfer of travel arrangements: DKK 100;

  8. Liabilities:

    The traveller is not free from liability for payment, even if he/she is prevented from making the trip due to force majeure (war, nuclear and natural disasters or the like).

  9. Complaints:

    Any complaints must be submitted directly to the provider as soon as possible during your stay. If the problem is not resolved, please contact Nordic Travel by tel. +45 60 213 413 within 24 hours after arrival. The right to complaint will be forfeited if you do not report the problem to the provider as soon as it occurs. If you leave the accommodation venue without giving the provider or the organiser a reasonable amount of time to solve the problem, you forfeit the right to compensation. Any claim for compensation must be submitted in writing to Nordic Travel within 30 days after the end of the holiday.

  10. Amendment of the Holiday:

    If a part of a package holiday cannot be delivered according to the confirmation, or if refund arrangements cannot be fulfilled, the customer shall have the right to cancel the arrangements at no extra cost. The customer receives a refund of the amount less the value of the part of the package, which has already been utilised. In addition, the customer cannot raise any additional claims to Nordic Travel.

  11. Insurance:

    Participation is your own responsibility and no form of insurance is included. Nordic Travel refers to ordering an insurance policy with Europæiske Rejseforsikring A/S at www.europaeiske.dk/Bestil/ [1] after booking the trip.

  12. Contractual Basis:

    All holidays are sold in compliance with the Package Holidays Act of 30 June 1993. The technical organiser of the holidays is Nordic Travel, which is member of the Travel Guarantee Fund (member number 1936). In order to achieve Travel Guarantee Fund coverage, you have to purchase at least 2 services, such as accommodation and transport. You have no insurance coverage as a customer, if you purchase only hotel accommodation. Additional information can be found at www.rejsegarantifonden.dk [2]. Group trips and special arrangements are not covered by the current terms and conditions since these forms of travelling are subject to special contractual terms. All other reservations are subject to the above general terms and conditions of travel unless special terms are specified in the booking. Nordic Travel is not liable for print errors and omissions in printed and electronic materials such as brochures, internet websites etc.
